The Manifesto of the Weird
They whisper behind my back that I am weird… But at least, I truly have a Life, and I succeed in what I do. And if being original, eccentric, or having a look far from “the (bitter)grey” allows me to be authentic, then I will have also succeeded in my path, my existence, my way of being… unique. Me.
<<< The tongues that wag behind your back never carry anything. They remain on the shore, commenting on those who swim, while they themselves are too afraid to even wet their feet. >>>
Normality is often synonymous with mediocrity. Being “weird” sometimes just means being ahead of your time or different, and that is a precious strength. In any case, they do not even realize that they are involuntarily giving me the ultimate confirmation of my existence!
